Details: Your ring will be made in solid sterling silver with a black antiquing finish. The band measures 9.5 mm top to bottom and 2.7 mm at the thickest point. The Cirth rune ring weighs approximately 16.1 grams - weight will vary with size. The inside of the band is stamped with our makers mark, copyright, and the metal content.

The rune found in the top right corner of the door is the secret mark made by Gandalf in The Hobbit. The rune was a signal to Thorin's Dwarven party that this was the home of their burglar and treasure hunter. The mark is a Dwarvish rune combining the meanings of the "F" and "R" runes. Together the runes indicates that the occupant of the home is in search of a journey for wealth, treasure and adventure and is willing to travel. Or as Gandalf described it: "Burglar wants a good job, plenty of excitement and reasonable reward".

The Emeralds of Girion was a necklace belonging the last Lord of Dale. The necklace was given as payment for a coat of =armor made by the Dwarves of Erebor. The necklace was described as "made of five hundred emeralds green as grass". It was one of the fabulous treasures discovered in Smaug the dragon's hoard. At the end of the Battle of Five Armies, Thranduil, the Elvenking of Mirkwood, was given the necklace by Bard the Bowman in gratitude for his assistance.

Details: The Mirkwood Elven Earrings dangle from French ear wires. Each earring is set with a 6.5 mm round emerald green cubic zirconia. The Mirkwood earrings measures 20.5 mm long including bail, 12.5 mm at the widest point, and 4 mm thick at the gemstone and weigh approximately 5.3 grams (2.6 grams each).

It is easy to forget that the events of The Hobbit were hinged on a very simple object, a secret key that would open a secret door. This was Thrór's Key. Thorin Oakenshield's Dwarven party desired to reclaim the Lonely Mountain from Smaug the Dragon. The answer to the Dwarves' quest was a map, a door, and a key created in secret by Thorin's grandfather, Thrór. Gandalf presents Thorin with the key when the party joins together at Bilbo Baggins home.

"Here it is!" he said, and handed to Thorin a key with a long barrel and intricate words, made of silver. "Keep it safe!"

The barrel of the key is engraved in Dwarven Runes with the same phrase that is found on Thror's map, "Five Feet High The Door, And Three May Walk Abreast. TH * TH" (The TH runes are Thrór's signature).

Details: The Dwarven Key pendant measures 48 mm long, 16.4 mm wide, and 2.3 mm at the thickest point. Each key is hand finished with black antiquing to give the key an aged look.
